This 40 cm deep aluminium shelf is a convenient and contemporary addition to any greenhouse or orangery. It functions as a practical bench for your plants and is strong enough to accommodate larger seedbeds, heavier plant pots, and a range of plant care supplies.
But its use goes beyond gardening. This shelf is equally suitable for organizing tools, displaying decorative items, holding tableware for outdoor dining, or storing books and essentials in a garden retreat or leisure space. Its clean design complements both functional and lifestyle-oriented environments.
You may also purchase and attach our different alu shelves onto the same greenhouse wall at once: fix this wide shelf (D-40 cm) lower and place the narrow one (D-20) higher — for maximum space efficiency and comfort.
This shelf consists of two functional components:
1. Aluminium Frame
- A rectangular, railing-type shelf framed around the perimeter with an L-shaped aluminium base for strength and structure.
2. Plastic Insert Trays
- The top surface is covered with black plastic, honeycomb-like trays (30 × 40 × 5 cm).
These inserts allow water and soil to drain downward, keeping the floor clean and dry while promoting air and light circulation.
