Many of us can't imagine a summer dinner table without fresh, clean, flavourful vegetables grown in our own greenhouse: lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers or zucchini. As our lifestyles and hobbies change rapidly, so does the function of the greenhouse. A greenhouse can be used not only for farming. It can also serve as an additional leisure space where it is a pleasure to spend time at any weather. A quality and functional greenhouse will become the highlight of your garden or yard.

GARDENIS greenhouses are manufactured using 4mm tempered clear glass and 10mm clear polycarbonate.

We are often asked, which greenhouse material you recommend—glass or polycarbonate?

There is no clear answer. Each of us has different requirements regarding form, function, and aesthetics, which may or may not be met by both materials. When choosing a material for your greenhouse, you need to consider the main features of both.

Glass greenhouse:

• Aesthetic appearance
• Extremely durable
• Maximum transmission of sunlight
• Resistant to scratches, heat, and cold, easy to clean and wash.
• It warms up quickly but cools down quickly.
• Higher weight, more complex greenhouse roof construction

Polycarbonate greenhouse:

• Excellent thermal insulation properties
• Proper sealing of polycarbonate channels is crucial
• Long-lasting but more susceptible to scratches
• Lower weight, simpler greenhouse roof construction

The greenhouse must be set back at least 1 m from the boundary of the adjacent plot.

Choose a safe, sunny, and wind-free garden location for the greenhouse.

Do not place the greenhouse under trees or close to another building. This will avoid shade, which reduces the amount of light the plants need.

In addition, falling fruit, branches, or snow can damage the glazing.

Also, nearby trees' roots will drain your greenhouse's soil much faster.

GARDENIS greenhouses, conservatories, garden rooms, and other outdoor structures are crafted from premium-quality raw materials sourced directly from leading manufacturers within the EU.

• The structures are built using aluminium profiles of various shapes, lengths, and thicknesses, securely assembled with stainless steel bolts and nuts for maximum durability.
• We use 4 mm tempered safety glass and/or 10 mm clear twin-wall polycarbonate for coverings, which offer excellent insulation and protection.
• All coverings are secured with EPDM rubber seals, which are highly resistant to weathering, chemicals, and extreme temperature fluctuations, ensuring long-lasting performance.

• All GARDENIS products are designed with the customer/end user in mind. They adhere to the D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) principle, allowing you to assemble any greenhouse model independently.
• Each product package includes detailed assembly instructions in multiple languages and a complete list of the product's elements.
• A solid, stable, and even foundation is essential for any greenhouse. All GARDENIS greenhouse models include an aluminium base as a reliable foundation. Our greenhouses can be installed directly on the ground, grass, terrace floors, paving stones, or concrete surfaces. While concrete or brick wall-type foundations are not required, they can be used for additional stability or style preferences.
• Before selecting the design and size of your greenhouse, it is essential to check your local legal requirements for greenhouse installation. This step ensures compliance with local regulations and a smooth installation and usage process.

Packaging

Our products are large aluminium structures with glass or polycarbonate. All elements are carefully packed to ensure safe transport and practical handling at every stage - from loading to installation.

Aluminium components are packed in carton units of up to 30 kg, suitable for handling by two persons.

Polycarbonate sheets are packed in carton and can typically be handled by one or two persons.

Glass sheets and panels are always packed in a wooden crate. These are heavy and require technical equipment (such as a forklift or crane) for loading and unloading.

Glass sheets for greenhouses are packed in 1 (for larger structures - 2, 3) wooden crates.

Structural (aluminium) profiles are packed in carton boxes.

The box length corresponds to the longest wall of the greenhouse (up to max 604 cm); width 45 cm, height 20 cm.

The number and lengths of carton boxes vary according to the dimensions of the greenhouse structure.

Max. weight per carton box: 30 kg.

As each our product varies in size, weight, and packaging, therefore it requires individual loading arrangements. Detailed cargo information is provided upon order submission.

Delivery

If the delivery service has been purchased, the ordered products will be delivered by GARDENIS UAB’s logistics partners - international transport companies.

From the moment the shipment is handed over to the logistics partner until it is delivered to the Buyer, all delivery-related communication with the Buyer will be handled by the logistics partner’s representatives.

Upon delivery, the Buyer must provide at least one person to assist the driver with unloading packages weighing between 10 and 30 kg.

 Pick-up from Warehouse

We offer the option to collect your order from our factory - warehouse in Kaunas, Lithuania: https://gardenis.lt/en/contacts 

For local pick-up, we recommend:

• A car with a trailer or
• A truck with a lift

Please note that unloading of glass crates will require appropriate equipment.

 Delivery Service

We can help organise delivery to your address across most European locations. We work with a network of reliable logistics partners operating to international standards.

• Local deliveries (LT, LV, EE): truck with lift
• Longer distances: truck with lift, standard tent truck, or crane truck, depending on access conditions.

 Delivery Costs

Delivery is available as an additional service for an extra fee.

The cost depends on the product (its dimensions, glazing materials) and the delivery distance. We will provide a delivery quotation once the product specifications are confirmed.

Once approved by you, the delivery cost will be included in the final quotation.
